It's become clear to me that despite my intermittent attempts to be active on this site, I just don't have it in me to be a regular member. To be fair, I'm not that great of an artist (but I am a fantastic doodler, let me tell you), and these days I generally have neither the time nor the want to do anything dA-worthy.

I do, however, frequently lurk the forums, mainly because dA's seem to be some of the best organized and frequented on the internet, and they're awesome for procrastinating when I'm supposed to be writing a paper on multilingual acquisition or some such.

So really, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm an active user in that I check dA on a regular basis, but inactive in that I never actually do anything on here. I just thought you should know, should you happen to stumble across my page and wonder.
